Accessing the BIOS of an MSI computer
La BIOS (acronym for Basic Input/Output System) of a computer is the basic input and output system. It is actually a chip that is built into the motherboard, which contains a firmware to run the management processes for starting the computer.
There are three major tasks that the BIOS performs before authorizing the startup of a computer: boot management itself, hardware verification, and service activation.
The method to access the BIOS on an MSI computer is a bit different from the way you do it on any other regular PC. Here are the steps to follow:
- First, we must turn off the computer completelyIt is not enough to leave it in sleep or hibernation mode, but you have to turn it off completely.
- After a few seconds, We turn on the computer again and press the "Delete" key continuously. (on some keyboards it is the key "del"). *
