One of the most striking features of Windows 10 is the customization options offered by the latest version of Microsoft's desktop operating system. You've probably noticed that the Start menu colors change throughout the day without any apparent pattern. Sometimes the colors displayed are quite unattractive, like that dark orange or the dull greens that Windows 10 seems to favor. Fortunately, we can configure our version of Windows 1 to always display a single color in the Start menu , or we can configure it to change color throughout the day.
Change the colors of the start menu in Windows 10
- First of all we go to the Windows 10 configuration through the start menu and clicking on the cogwheel located on the left side of the menu.
- Within the different options that Windows 10 offers us to customize or modify, we will click on Personalization. and then in Colours.
- At the top of the screen, an example of the color that the Windows 10 start menu is showing will be displayed. Just below that is Accent Color. This is where we have to select the color that best suits our taste from the wide range of colors that it offers us.
But if what we really want is for Windows 10 to automatically select the color it prefers, regardless of our preferences, we should select the " Automatically pick an accent color from my background" option . We can also use the selected color to display in the taskbar and Action Center, as well as in the title bar. To do this, we simply need to select the last two options available in this settings menu.
