Change the language of the proofreader in PowerPoint Sometimes it may be necessary if we are forced to use a language that is not our usual language, especially if we regularly work with other languages such as English. If we are not fluent in the language, we can make any spelling mistakes.
To avoid it and look bad in the face of a client or if it is a job for class, it never hurts, use the spelling checker available in PowerPoint. In a native and inexplicable way, many are the users who have English as the language of the proofreader.
By having in English as a language, all the words that we write, will be underlined in red if we are writing in a language other than English, inviting us to review it because it is not in the dictionary. To change the language of the corrector in PowerPoint we must carry out the steps that I detail below:
- Once we have opened the document that we want to review, we go to the option Check of the ribbon.
- Next, click on Language - Set correction language.
- Finally, we must find the language we want to use to check if we have misspelled any word in the presentation.
To avoid having to visit all the slides that are part of the presentation, in the Review ribbon, we must click on the first option: Spelling. This option will analyze all the included text and will show us all the words that are not in the dictionary.
