Within Google Drive, we find a suite of the company's cloud-based office tools. We've shown how to work with Docs on more than one occasion, but it's not the only program available. One of them is Google Forms , which can be a very interesting option for many users, as it allows us to create forms.
This tool allows you to easily create all kinds of forms . So, if you need to create one for work or studies, Google Forms is a good option to consider, as it will allow you to do so without too much hassle.
The best part is that we can create it entirely from our browser , so we don't need any programs that take up space on our computer. We simply need to access our Google Drive account. From there, we can create this form from scratch, which we can then use whenever necessary.
Create form with Google Forms
Within the cloud, in the upper left corner, we have the "New" option, which we'll click. Several options will appear; we'll click on "More," the last one. Then, on the right, the option to create forms will appear , which is done using Google Forms. We'll click on this option, and a new window will open where we'll begin developing this form.
The first thing we're asked to do is give this form a name , as well as a description. This way, we'll know why we're creating it, which could be for studies or work. Simply explain briefly what we want to achieve with it. Once we've done this, we're ready to start writing the questions we need to include in the form.
Google Forms asks us to give each question a name, as is usually the case. We therefore create a kind of statement explaining the question itself, or what we want to find out with it, if it's an option to measure satisfaction, for example. Then, we can choose the type of question we want to use . We have several options, such as multiple-choice questions, verification, drop-down lists, or questions where we want the user to provide a written response. We can select these options for each question.
If you already have a question created and want to move on to the next one, you'll see a "+" symbol on the right. Click on it to add new questions to this Google Forms form . You can add as many questions as you want, of any type. The idea is to configure this to your liking. This tool also offers many customization options for the questions, which many users will surely find useful.
Google Forms allows you to add photos or videos to questions . So, if you were planning a form based on a video, you can insert the video at the beginning and then create the questions. Or, if you want a question about a specific photo to check if it's been viewed correctly, you can upload a photo below the question and then enter the question. In this way, you can configure many aspects of the tool, making it particularly easy and convenient to use.
