We continue with the basic tutorials to get the most out of PowerPoint. Today it is the turn of a function that allows us change text orientation, so that it is not displayed horizontally, add dynamism to our presentation and, incidentally, prevent the recipient from falling into boredom.
The first thing to keep in mind is avoid rotating texts that are too long, since you can encourage the recipient of our presentation to avoid straining to read the rotated text, so it is only advisable to use it for the title or to highlight areas of the presentation that contain few words.
Once we are clear about this advice, we are going to show the steps to follow to rotate texts in PowerPoint.
- Once we have opened the slide where the text we want to rotate is located, click on it to select it.
- At the top of the box where the text is located, a circular arrow that invites us to rotate the document to the position we want.
- We just have to click on that arrow and slide the mouse slightly until we find the right angle that we want the text to show.
Through this box, we will not be able to enlarge the size of the text, just the box where it is. If we want to enlarge the size of the font, we must do so through the options of the Start option of the ribbon within the Font section and expand the size of the letter until it fits what we are looking for.
