Afterwards, learning to use it is extremely simple, since it has a simple and intuitive interface which is very easy to get familiar with.
Let's see what needs to be done to add a new widget, customize it according to our preferences and, finally, how to design a layout or desktop layout that best suits what we want and need. We explain everything point by point below:
Add a new widget
The first step to start adding widgets to the desktop of our Windows 11 computer is very simple. Simply open the BeWidgets app and click on the button marked as «New Widget». Then we assign a name and finally we display the menu in which all available widgets appear.
The list is very long. For example, there are widgets to add calendar time and date, weather forecast, traffic status, stock quotes, currency exchange, etc. There are also other widgets that offer practical advice, news, shortcuts to certain applications or web pages, as well as access to photo galleries or files.
Many options to fill our desktop. Sometimes, too many. Therefore, when we are more or less clear about what we want, it is advisable to use the search button and simplify the process.
Customize the widget
Now that we have selected the widget, the next step is to adapt it to our needs. To do this we must use the button «Customize». When you press it, a new window appears with a series of customizable options. Some of them are common to all widgets: position on the desktop, size, visual appearance, etc.
Among the options we have is that the widget is always displayed above any other open window or application, so that it is visible at all times.
