Microsoft owns Groove Music, and although it may seem like they've neglected it, they're still working on it to offer a better experience to users who rely on this service to listen to their favorite music. Now, Microsoft doesn't want to miss out on the smart playlists trend , which recommends songs based on user preferences, by incorporating this functionality into Groove Music.
Groove Music recently introduced the "Your Groove" feature, which automatically creates playlists tailored to your musical tastes. This feature generates playlists of songs from your OneDrive music collection based on your listening habits, statuses, and artist activity, so you can easily catch up on your favorite bands when they're on tour.
Another of Groove Music's star features is when you have a Music Pass, with which Groove will take care of adding new songs to playlists to expand your musical horizons.
Microsoft has also announced that Your Groove is currently in its early stages. This means they are improving the user experience with interface tweaks and gathering user feedback to refine the final product.
