The Android and Windows 10 versions of Minecraft share many similarities, and it's the latter that's available in the Windows Store. It has the same features as the mobile version, so any new features released for the mobile version will also be updated on the Windows version.
The Android experience is about to get a major upgrade on mobile, as the folks at Mojang have announced that Minecraft: Pocket Edition and Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition are receiving the multiplayer service known as Minecraft Realms.
The service is currently available in alpha on the Android version of Pocket Edition. The experience is completely free, and details of the Realms subscription will be published closer to the final release.
In general, Realms means that multiplayer in Pocket Edition will be simpler and easier to play on a server with family and friends, even if the Realm owner isn't online. Realms also means that players can host their own Minecraft multiplayer worlds in a simpler and more secure environment, open only to a select group of people.
Minecraft Realms won't be officially released for a while, but more details will be shared soon on the Mojang blog. If you'd like to try Realms on your Android device with a copy of Minecraft: Pocket Edition from the Google Play Store, you can follow this link . You'll need an Xbox Live account to use the service.
An interesting proposal from Mojang to add quality to the mobile versions of Minecraft, including the Android and Windows 10 Edition, to make it easier to have fun games with friends and family.
