Microsoft continues to offer new features and functionalities not only in Windows 10 and Windows 10 Mobile, but also in many of its applications available for other operating systems like Android and iOS. If last week was packed with new features, this week seems to be starting the same way, as it was just announced that offline translations for Microsoft Translator are now available on iOS devices.
This option was already available for Android devices for some time, but now any user of an iPhone or an iPad can already use it. This is undoubtedly a great advantage since it will allow us to translate any word or text at any time, even without having an available Internet connection.
With this move, it seems Microsoft wants to continue challenging Google , and specifically its Google Translate app , which has offered this functionality for some time on Android devices but is not yet available on iOS. Undoubtedly, the search giant's headquarters are already working at full speed to implement this feature and avoid falling behind the Redmond-based company.
The fight between Google and Microsoft clearly benefits users that both on Android and iOS we can choose between the applications of one or the other. Too bad Google has not yet boldly and boldly pushed its apps into Windows 10 Mobile.
