Although the latest laptop models usually include all kinds of connections so that it does not make us buy any accessories, it is most likely that if our PC is not high-end or we already have it for a while, it is that we have connected some that another accessory to our computer, such as a receiver for the mouse, an optical drive, a printer, a bluetooth usb ... All these elements they are configured the first time we connect them to the computer, and once configured we can make use of them until it either breaks down or we decide to change it for a superior model. In these cases and in order to have our Windows 10 PC more organized, the best we can do is eliminate them before putting them in the drawer.
Delete connected device in Windows 10
- First we go to the Windows 10 configuration, click on the Start button and gear wheel.
- Within the Windows configuration options, we will click on the second option that is named Devices.
- In the following menu, the different types of devices that we can connect to our PC will appear on the right side, be it a mouse, a company or scanner, a keyboard ... We will click on Connected devices.
- In this option we can try to add devices that the PC does not detect. But it also allows us to eliminate the devices that we have connected at that moment. Once we are clear about the device we want to delete, we will click on it and we will go to Remove device, located in the same box of the device to be deleted once we have selected it.
- Once the device is removed, we can proceed to disconnect it from our PC. If we want to reconnect it, we just have to reconnect it so that Windows 10 automatically detects it and installs it again.
