The web is our best friend on many occasions; on sites like ours, we can find tutorials, tips, and the best software. However, being able to save web pages to view offline is often a huge advantage. Today, we're going to show you how to easily save web pages on Windows using a fairly simple piece of software. As always, at Windows News, we bring you the best tutorials, guides, and tips for your Windows PC, and this is one of them, which you might even be able to use to save our own tutorials. Let's get started, and take note of our tip today.
The software we'll be using this time is Cyotek WebCopy, which you can easily find at this LINK provided by our colleagues at AplicacionesWindows. Once you have the software, download and install it like any other program, without any major complications. This software is fantastic for managing this type of content , which is why we chose it. While it's not the most detailed or has the best user interface, it's completely free and open source—a real luxury to have this application available.
Once the program is open, you'll find that the top two bars contain both the "Website" and "Select Folder" profiles. In the "Website" field, you'll copy the web address of the site you want to save. To do this, simply go to your preferred website, click on the address bar in your browser, copy it, and paste it here. Once you click "Capture," the specified site will begin downloading so you can view it online. A file will be generated in your chosen folder, which you can access whenever you want. To open the file, right-click > Open with… > and select your preferred file explorer.
