The new DOOM comes with impressive features on the graphical level and technical quality thanks to the geniuses they have as developers at id Software. And it is that Bethesda Softworks will offer this week to the players the opportunity to play the first level for free.
DOOM will be released next week on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC, so that first level will be the litmus test to check that your computer can handle its graphic capacity and if it really fills you up so that you can acquire the full version of this great shooter that has left us shocked thanks to some of its videos.
Apart from the free tier, id Software plans release free content after launch, which includes new multiplayer modes such as "Capture the Flag" in its Exodus variant, one called "Capture" and the "hold mode" called Sector. Also included is the "free for all" mode, which includes the classic DOOM deathmatch.
As a bonus, the SnapMap editing tool will allow you to add content based on "Hell" to the levels created by the players themselves, apart from another way to create single player maps.
But it will be in summer when the first paid download for multiplayer arrives. It will be titled "Unto The Evil" and will add three new multiplayer maps, a new player demon, a new weapon and much more. Two other download packs are in development, and more information regarding this will be revealed soon. An extra content that will come in handy for this great shooter and with which we can see how id Software and Bethesda want to put all the meat on the grill so that it becomes one of the most played games for the coming months and, why not , years. Head over to the Xbox store to give it a try.
